1. Set Up Baseline Performance

- Search for Intel XTU and install it.

- Locate the “Benchmarks” section and click “Run.”

4. Increase The Voltage

Alternatively, you can make a constant change in voltage by increasing the core voltage. Both can work, but it’s better to alter the voltage offset (to avoid access heating). However, here are the steps to increase core voltage:
- Increase the core voltage by 0.1, and apply the settings from step 3.
- Now run the XTU benchmark to check if it crashes. If it doesn’t crash, it means that the increased power got stabilized.
- If it’s not stabilized, then keep repeating this whole process until the benchmark works.
- During this process, keep the CPU temperature in check. XTU shows the temperature on the screen, so you can keep checking constantly.
- Try to keep the temperature under 80 degrees Celsius.
- When the temperature goes overboard, you should decrease the overclock by 150MHz.
5. Check Performance
You can check the results by running a benchmark or by running some high-level application or game. If you see any difference in its performance, then congratulations! Your overclocking worked. However, if the performance remains the same, you can go through the preceding steps until you reach your desired results.
